Trinity University is offering a music composition scholarship for international students in the United States of America. The scholarship is to help encourage students’ academic and career goals.
The award is open to international students in pursuit of an undergraduate degree at the Department of Music at Trinity University. New students, transfer, and continuing students can apply for this scholarship.

The Trinity University Music composition Scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic session is open for application to international students and the application deadline is the 21st of February 2021.
As part of the institution’s commitment to enhance social integration and to encourage international students to be committed in the development of music, the Trinity University provides annual scholarship awards – the Music Composition Scholarship, where students are awarded cash prize ranging from $1,500 – $10,000 at the Department of Music for each academic session.

To be eligible, applicant must have to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be an undergraduate student of the Trinity University, Department of Music.
- Applicants can be new students, transfer students, and continuing students are eligible.
- The scholarship is open for private study too.
How to Apply for Trinity Music Composition Scholarship – the Guide
Applicants must complete the online award application form. Electronic submission should be sent directly to faculty representative for a specific area (piano, organ, composition, winds/percussion, strings, or voice) via email.
Applicants are encouraged to audition in person, however, a recorded audition is acceptable if applicants can’t audition in person. The audition can be sent electronically as an email attachment or Youtube channel link. Additionally, a DVD or CD recording may be mailed directly to the Music Department.
Applicants are required to meet the entry requirements of their chosen program.
An adequate level of English proficiency is required.
